The paralympian and his dance partner, Oti Mabusi, stunned judges with an incredibly fast-paced Jive to Chuck Berry's Jonny B. Goode.
Jonnie, 24, donned his blade prosthetic for the performance but viewers were increasingly distracted by his change of hairstyle.
Letting his blonde locks flow, the sports star cut a handsome figure and Strictly Come Dancing fans flocked to social media to share their thoughts on his new look.
One wrote on Twitter: "2012: 'Wow, how can he run so fast with a prosthetic!' 2017: 'Never mind the blade. Jonnie's hair'."
Another posted: "Can we talk about Jonnie Peacock with his hair down? Is there a thirst support line I can contact? #Strictly."
A third added: "Tonight is just showing that Jonnie should never have his hair in a bun, it is so glorious left loose. #StrictlyComeDancing2017 #Strictly."
More were inspired by his performance as one tweeted: "Jonnie was amazing and just goes to show that having a disability doesn’t stop you from achieving anything #Strictly."
