3 July 2013Students join Paralympic medallists for Race to Rio

School children from the Olympic borough of Newham will this morning join gold medallists David Weir and Jonnie Peacock and Sainsburys Chief Executive Justin King to launch the Race to Rio, a new Sainsburys campaign to support the development of the next generation of Paralympians.

Race to Rio will call on the British public to pledge to run one of the 5,750 miles from London to the next Paralympic host city - Rio de Janeiro. For every mile pledged, Sainsburys will donate £10 to the British Paralympic Association.
